Loving to Learn started as a preschool group in 2003 with 2 families. By 2006, it grew to 7 families. This year, 2022, we served 21 families, totaling 68 kids. In total, over the past 20 years we have served over 150 families and hundreds of kids.

In addition, every year we sponsor activities and events where we invite other homeschoolers from our community.

One example of these community events is called Vendor Day, where kids sell products they have made. In addition, we have large yearly events based on what we have studied, where 100-250 people attend.

Our Values

Our students build quality relationships, and parents benefit from having mentoring and
accountability support.

Community

Learning through experiences solidifies academics and helps students deeply grasp abstract
concepts.

Experience

If you're going to learn, why not enjoy your time spent learning? We strive to make learning exciting and applicable for all ages.

Fun

We mean this literally! Each family contributes their gifts and time to make a sensational learning experience.

Family-Run

Each unit is meticulously planned so that lessons reinforce each other and are
remembered for a lifetime.

Memorable

Help kids understand God's Sovereignty over His creation, all of history, and our lives.

God's In Charge

When the atmosphere encourages learning, the learning is inevitable.

We believe:

Tammi is the wife of 25 years of Bill Stevens and homeschool mother of 7 children. Before having kids, Tammi was an award winning public school teacher for 6 years in Tucson. Tammi began homeschooling her children from the start and currently teaches her 17 year old daughter and two youngest sons, ages 8 and 9. She also founded and leads Loving to Learn out of her home. At the onset, Tammi created Loving to Learn with the mindset of a educator to be hands-on and to use a theme to organize and connect information in the brains of her students. Currently, Loving to Learn serves 22 families and 65 kids from baby through high school. Tammi recently formed the nonprofit Loving to Learn, Inc., with the vision of opening a learning center.  Tammi's dream is to assist many more families who want to take on the task of discipling their kids mentally, spiritually, and academically and to spread the love of learning in her community.
